Community Partnerships
Coldwell Banker Bain Associates (CBBA) established the Community Partnership Program as a way for the company and its agents to give back to non-profit organizations serving our communities and the arts. Since its conception, CBBA agents have donated over $1,000,000 to non-profit organizations in and around Seattle and the Puget Sound region.
Here is how the program works. Anytime someone affiliated with a Community Partnership non-profit organization, or a friend or relative of that person, buys or sells a house with the Divas, Coldwell Banker Bain and the Divas will donate 10% of the commission back to the organization.
Let's think about it. 10% of a commission of a $350,000 home is $1,050. That is BIG $$ for a small organization. It's that simple!
To date we have supported the Pacific Northwest Ballet, 826-Seattle, FIUTS and other small community groups.
FIUTS - Making Connections Between Our Community and International Students
Our relationship with FIUTS started over a glass of wine at the Ballet when a friend asked us if we wanted to host a University of Washington Foreign Exchange student for a week. Naturally being the social type we said "Why not?" What started as a week long adventure with our first student, Matthieu from Paris, has become a deep passion for the programs of this small organization. All of the Divas have hosted students from all over the world, our friends have hosted students and the best yet - Diva Kim now serves on the Board of Directors. We love FIUTS and strongly encourage any of you who like to travel and share a passion for an international environment to find out more about FIUTS.

Velocity Dance Center
Velocity is a critical component in Seattle's contemporary dance community. They provide classes, space for upcoming choreographers and invest valuable resources in artists in and around Seattle. A couple of years ago Velocity lost their space at the Odd Fellows by a local developer who bought the building. The developers tripled Velocity's rent and left the organization with a critical choice = move or close.
Team Diva was appalled at how one of our favorite organizations was treated during the process of losing their original home. We felt compelled like many Seattelites and rallied behind Velocity to ensure they would be here for the long term. We gave in small and big ways to their Capitol Campaign. It was wonderful to see Velocity finally move into their new home on 12th Ave in Capitol Hill. Viva Velocity - Velocity Forever!

Other Organizations We Love
On The Boards: Sometimes we love their work and sometimes we walk away shaking our heads. Regardless On the Boards offers some of the best in contemporary theater, dance, humour and everything else in between.
St. Joseph's Parish: Diva Kaz is active in her Parish and supports St. Joe's many ministries. St. Joe's sits in the heart of Capitol Hill provides huge support to the surrounding community.
826-Seattle: 826 is a writing and tutoring organization for kids aged 6-18 years. They are housed in the Greenwood neighborhood and work with schools and kids throughout the city. We have been personally touched by the magic that has occurred in Kids as they go through one of 826's writing programs.
Pacific Northwest Ballet - Backstage Pass: Diva Kaz and Chavi have both served on the board of directors for Backstage Pass. Backstage Pass opens the world of ballet to folks in their 20s and 30s.
